Panel 1:
A middle-aged woman in ratty clothes is rummaging through a box near the wall.
Pauline: Over here!
Panel 2:
Matt goes over to the lady and they whisper to each other.
Panel 3:
Tony and Mistaire look onwards as the other two whisper.
Mistaire: I don't like this at all.
Panel 4:
The two stare at Tony and Mistare.
Pauline and Matt in unison: HMMMM...
Panel 5:
Mistaire glares at Tony, while the secretive pair continue talking.
Mistaire: AT ALL.
Panel 6:
Matt and Pauline gesture wildly.
Pauline: I don't care WHAT the internet says. The Gadgetmobile is specificaly designed for these scenarios.
Matt: But the school bus is MAGIC! That trumps everything!
Panel 7:
Matt looks stubbornly triumphant.
Pauline: Look, this isn't the time for debate. What do we do with your friends here?
Matt: That means you give up!




Magic School Bus vs. Gadgetmobile? I agree with Matt here, magic trumps gadgetry. Also, the middle panels with the whispering and Mistaire's reaction are some of my favorites in the early chapters. The timing is just real good here. Bonus trivia: Every wooden crate in Pauline's lair is labeled with a console name. The box blocking the entrance was 3DO, the box she's rummaging through in the first box is Colecovision. These labels don't correspond with what's IN the boxes, it's a code system.
