Panel 1:
Tony slouches, disheartened, in his seat.
Tony: I thought I could do something heroic!
Mistaire: There were teachers RIGHT THERE!
Panel 2:
Sargreon looks irritatingly at the kids in the back.
Sargreon: Enough! We can't reverse what has happened. Hopefully, the natives will make up their own theories about what happened, and never be the wiser.
Panel 3:
Tony reacts with jazzhands.
Sargreon (off-panel): But YOU, Anthony, are forbidden to be in Laserhawk forum until this blows over.
Tony: What? Aaw.
Panel 4:
Mistaire holds up a hand to do some magic.
Sargreon (off-panel): Mistaire, Laserhawks are linked magically to their summoners. Try powering him down.
Mistaire: O...kay.
Panel 5:
Tony's hair and ears return to normal, and his wings disappear, although he didn't intend for them to.
Tony: Oh, come on!
Mistaire: That's kind of cool!
Panel 6:
Sargreon points towards the door while settling down to read his computer again.
Sargreon: Both of you go. I have research to do.

So a thought occurred to me while writing this transcript. Sargreon here plays a big expositionary role, explaining magic to the young heroes. Well, he IS a teacher, but is his role really necessary? If I made a comic where the characters had to figure out magic through their own trial and error, would it make a more interesting story? It wouldn't work for Laserwing, but someday it might be worth trying.
