Clarisse waves down Tony, finally. He blushes when he sees her.
Clarisse: Hey! Excuse me!
Panel 2:
Clarisse, out of breath, braces herself against Tony. Mistaire edges in suspiciously.
Tony: Hey, Clarisse!
Clarisse: Hey...What happened to your wings?
Panel 3:
Tony and Mistaire freak the fuck out
Tony: My whats.
Mistaire: Oh shit!
Panel 4:
Mistaire grabs Clarisse by the wrist and runs off, leaving Tony still reacting.
Mistaire: SARGREONNN!
Panel 5:
Outside, Mistaire drags Clarisse to a human car with a human Sargreon waiting for them.
Sargreon: Calm down, I'm right here.
Panel 6:
Sargreon, human, rests his hand on the car casually.
Sargreon: What's the matter, girl?
Panel 7:
Reaction shot of Clarisse freaking the fuck out.
Panel 8:
We see Sargreon as he truly is, next to the 'car,' his spaceship. He points at Clarisse in confusion.
Sargreon: ...Is that the same girl?




So now we find out that magic hasn't worked on Clarisse. I don't know how to really present before-and-after vision here without some ambiguity on what's going on...this is my current solution. The footnotes won't be there in the final. Bonus exposition: Most aliens have their own spaceships in the way that most people have their own cars. They're fast but compact, and you can glide on over to Mars for donuts if you want to. They contain computers and usually enough space to sleep. This is where Sargreon and Mistaire have been living. Also: All of Sargreon's species, when disguised as humans, wear glasses. Because they have four eyes. I'm sure someone in the universe thinks that's clever.
