Panel 1:
Mistaire glows and lifts off the ground a little. Her arms go above her head and the energy between her fingers gets brighter.
Panel 2:
Sargreon stares, surprised. Magic runes leak onto the panel.
Sargreon: ...Huh. She might actually get it right this time.
Panel 3:
Closeup on Mistaire's hands. The magical energy has taken a form, a bird writhing in midair, constructed from a color-changing light.
Panel 4:
Mistaire holds the Laserhawk in front of her, looking smug.
Mistaire: HAH. And you said I'd never be a summoner.
Panel 5:
The Laserhawk suddenly shoots up into the air. Mistaire is bewildered.




Um...Mistaire WON'T ever be a summoner. Neither she nor Sargreon specialize in summoning. She can do it but it's not her job. Also, wow, why is she so thin in these early drafts? She's actually much curvier. And her face is rounder.
