Matt lifts up his shirt to show some crudely drawn awesome pecs, with a scar across what is probably his lower lung, or stomach, or something.
Matt: Harder like getting shivved in the kidney by a crackhead at 3 AM. I told my mom it was from shaving, I don't know how she believed that.
Panel 2:
The background disappears somehow, and Matt drags off that thug.
Matt: Welp, I'm off to the nice clink! See you in twenty minutes!
Mistaire: Holy...
Panel 3:
Nighttime.
Panel 4:
The sun rises!
Panel 5:
Tony, Matt, and Josh head to school. Tony is slouched over, exhausted.
Tony: Guuh...this might not be the ideal sleep schedule.
Matt: That's why I drink pickle juice.
Josh: I'd ask...but I don't care.
Panel 6:
Ahead of the boys, Mistaire is forcing a grin.
Mistaire: Aaaw, c'mon Tony! Sleep is the least of your problems!
Josh: Who is she again?
Tony: Um...




Why did I spend so much space on a scene transition? Goddamn, those panels in the middle are way too huge. And Matt's out of character here. The guy does NOT drink pickle juice. I mean, it's delicious, but it's not what Matt would do. Since then I've set his personality traits into better order. He's more of a sugar addict than a pickle chugger (ha), and also spends most of his classtime asleep. Also, tired Tony is kind of adorable.
