Panel 1:
Sargreon and Mistaire look down at Tony. They're still invisible.
Sargreon: Oh
Mistiare: My
Panel 2:
Clarisse arrives and looks down at Tony. The invisibility spells on Sargreon and Mistaire alter the actual light around them, so that Clarisse can't see them (although she could normally see right through illusions).
Clarisse: GOD.
Panel 3:
Tony gets off the ground slowly, his bones still aching. His hair has turned blue and points upward, his ears are pointed and long, both pulled upward by the magical energy emanating from him. On his back sprout two red wings composed of light, that pass through his shirt and backpack as if they weren't there.
Tony: Oooowww...What the heck just happened?
Panel 4:
Clarisse looks down at Tony in amazement. Mistaire and Sargreon stare at her, wondering what to do now.
Sargreon (whisper): Remember, we're invisible. Be quiet.
Mistaire (whisper): Right.
Panel 5:
Tony stands up and notices Clarisse. He starts to blush again, focusing more on Clarisse than on his own changes. Clarisse stares up at him in awe.
Tony: ...Oh! Hi again! Uh...uuuum...
Clarisse: ...Are you an angel?
Tony: ...What?

Yaaay, first appearance of Tony's powers! There's a dilemma here though. Clarisse is biomagically defensive, meaning magic doesn't work on her. She can see through illusions and magical fireballs pass right through her without harm. But she's not allowed to see Sargry and Mistaire. That's not how the plot is supposed to go. How does that work? Well, magic doesn't work on her, but magic can manipulate the physical world, which does work on her. A magic fireball might as well be fresh air, but if you use magic to move molecules, you can create actual, scientific heat. And THAT kind of fire affects Clarisse. Same with invisibility. You could cast an illusion on yourself so that people see what's behind you, and not you, but then Clarisse could see through it. Also, you'd have to concentrate on constantly changing the illusion whenever you move. But if you make the light around your body move in certain ways, you're totally invisible, plus you don't have to think as hard about maintaining the spell. The dilemma is in how to explain that without making the exposition too cumbersome. Also, we don't yet know that Clarisse is biomagically defensive. That happens next chapter.
